WORLD CLASS FISHING IN BELIZE

Snook, a species rapidly disappearing in the United States, thrive in these abundant waters, where 10 to 30 pounders are the rule.  Record Snook, Tarpon, Permit, Grouper, King Mackerel, Snapper, Cubera, and Bonefish all abundantly thrive in the waters at Belize. No need to fight rough waters offshore as many are in the shallow waters and rivers that flow into the Caribbean Sea. The sheltered jungle rivers host plentiful brackish water fish.  We accommodate all talents, from the novice to the serious, to the special needs of  Fly Fishermen.

The pristine back-country and flats of Belize are revered by Fly-fishermen worldwide!  When your excursion is coupled with an experienced fly-guide from Action Belize, you can be guaranteed the best that the sport has to offer.  While most come here as spin and conventional fishermen, we recognize the special ability and expertise required on the fly rod.  We have guides who are specialists in this field and will be able to relate to the special needs of this unique ability.  Our location allows for access to ALL the best that Belize has to offer… and on those challenging windy days, we have three rivers and back-country access without going outside to the rough waters.  You have option with A BELIZE CRUISE ADVENTURE AND TRAVEL now celebrating 24 years in Belize.  While we provide spinning and conventional equipment, the fly-fisher will usually bring his/her own equipment.  Below are some tips to help you in your equipment decisions.

This tarpon too big to hoist out of the water!!

You just can't be sure what might jump out of those rivers on the way to snook, tarpon, and cubera.
This toothy barracuda messed with Pete Fischer, but Pete and Guide Martin won the fight!
